# A toy city bike ride where every look is a slider

Source: [cycle (ui8.dev)](https://cycle.ui8.dev/)

A little cyclist on a wet miniature street, and next to it a panel of sliders for tilt-shift, puddle reflections, tyre ripples, the sun, the rider's glasses, pixelation and dither. It's a demo for Forge, a free macOS app that puts a visual canvas on top of a local web project.

**TL;DR**

- Demo made with Forge, free macOS app: local web project as visual canvas
- Work stays on disk in your repo, ready to commit
- Scene: cyclist on a toy-sized street; auto or pedal mode, 1.6 m/s travel, 11 m/s top pedalling
- Wardrobe: glasses (classic, round, aviator), shirt (indigo, sage, linen, check)
- Miniature focus: tilt-shift or depth, blur 3 px, sharp depth 7 m
- Puddles: reflection 0.85, tyre ripples 0.7, splash spray
- Video look: pixelation 2 device px, posterize 11 tones, dither 0.8, duotone 0.2; scanlines, grain, vignette 0
- Lighting: sun, sky fill, shop lights, exposure; camera angle, height, framing, zoom limits
- Render quality: auto, full or lite; slow turntable option
